For any press inquiries:
«Festival Nrmal seeks to expose artists of many nationalities to a Mexican audience, and potentially establish collaborations with the international community.»
«The outdoor fete, with bands spread over three stages all day long, was a stylish yet friendly event where security was casual and the boundary between the performing musicians and the fans was almost nonexistent.»
LOS ANGELES TIMES
«Festival Nrmal sailed impeccably smooth. Bands from Mexico, the US and South America were flown in and put up across the street from the venue, a sprawling lot surrounded by mountains.»
«Perhaps most importantly, these events [showcases & the festival] were opportunities for bands and festival goers from different corners of the world to come together and engage in real personal and cultural exchange.»
«The whole festival emphasized direct engagement and broken barriers. There were no barricades between stage and crowd, who were invited up during sets by Trash Talk and Mykki Blanco.»
«The most compelling part of this week, though, was in the way this festival facilitated legitimate music discovery and cultural exchange between those who traveled from all over the world to be there. I learned about and met dozens of artists, fans, and folks involved in the music world from Mexico, Latin America, and beyond who I would have never been exposed to without a festival like this.»
THE BOSTON PHOENIX
«It was a very promising start for Festival Nrmal in the capital. The organisers took risks with the lineup, catering to the sort of leftfield tastes that are rarely considered in the city’s wider club scene.»
