Que mejor lugar que Tokio, Japón, para tres extraños relatos contados a través tres visiones diferentes y que además comparten el hecho de no pertenecer al país en donde suceden estas historias. Michel Gondry, Léos Carax de Francia y Bong Joon-ho de Corea son los autores de esta obra que lleva por título TOKYO!.
Y aunque fragmentadas por estas distintas visiones, TOKYO! nos muestra a un mismo Japón lleno de personajes totalmente humanos viviendo encuentros más que absurdos y catárticos, puntos definitorios en la vida de estos bizarros individuos, que tal vez no representen el estado natural de esta ciudad y de su comunidad, pero si el que muchos quisiéramos imaginar.

I think I enjoyed this book more than you did, lghtouah I agree it’s definitely not Wrede’s best work. (I did, however, like it considerably better than the only other thing of Stevermer’s I ever tried.) I also agree that the composition form probably detracted from the book as a polished product. On the other hand, there’s a good deal of charm (and inspiration to do likewise) in the idea of the letter game, which I think adds to the appeal of the book in a different way.By the way, I love the organization of your blog! -D.O.
